My first introduction to the internet was in grade 8 in 1994 (using Netscape Navigator 1.0, I believe). One of our assigned tasks was to find a chocolate chip cookie recipe using Web Crawler. All I can remember is that “surfing through Cyberspace” was boring as all hell.
